A break from the desert

On the last day of this Fall’s NXNW trip to the Utah desert, we took a break from the desert.

With six or seven hours to kill before our sunset shoot, we took a drive west, or south, or maybe southwest to Boulder Mountain where there was a reasonable expectation that we would find aspen trees in full fall color glory. And we did.
