Grand Teton Skyline
The view from Jackson Lake Lodge
We stopped at Jackson Lake Lodge for a quick beer and bite one afternoon early in the trip at peak “toplight” — when the sun is high and harsh. Not the optimal conditions for photography, but we were there, so we grabbed a couple of shots while sipping our beer.
After confirming with our waitress that we could indeed access the Lodge property at sunrise, we planned to return for a sunrise shoot later in the trip. This panorama is from that visit on our last morning in the Tetons.
