Grand Teton National Park

John Moulton Barn is one of the iconic barns on Mormon Row in Grand Teton National Park. The other is T. A. Moulton Barn, located a hundred yards up the road. Together they are the the most photographed barns in the country. And with Mount Moran and the Grand Teton range as a background, it is easy to see why.

When the NXNW crew and I on this morning in 2016, we hoped for a some cloud cover and epic sunrise color. Instead we were greeted with clear skies. For me, that was an invitation to seek out monochrome compositions.
