Seal Cove Wesleyan Church
About a dozen houses of worship pepper Grand Manan Island, and one of the most striking is this one: Seal Cove Wesleyan Church. I took note of it, along with its neighbor, Seal Cove Baptist Church, on my first visit to the island in 2017, but only managed to grab a quick snapshot or two, so I was looking forward to capturing a more fitting image or two this time around.
After shooting sunrise at Swallowtail Light, we drove to Seal Cove specifically to photograph the churches while the sun was still low enough to give us some interesting shadows. The blue cloudless sky pretty much guaranteed this image would get a BW treatment.
